2011-Designer Dress Created by Annette Carey to Celebrate Iconic Pen’s 60th Anniversary

To celebrate the BIC® Cristal® pen’s 60th Anniversary, designer Annette Carey has created a one-off dress inspired by and incorporating BIC® Cristal® ball pens --

- The dress includes 1,200 BIC® Cristal® barrels
- It includes 2,000 Swarovski Cristals
- It weighs 8lbs
- It took 640 man hours to make

This amazing dress takes pride of place at ‘Inkspiration: The Story of BIC® Cristal®’ exhibition.

This public exhibition was held at the Museum of Brands, Packaging and Advertising in April and May 2011.
